Fall Fun 2011

Happy Fall. Don't you just love it? I really enjoy the crisp weather that isn't too chilly and having hot chocolate and apple cider and doing fall things. I hope this finds you enjoying fall weather! This fall I am very happy to be back home in Toledo. (Well technically I'm in Temperance right now...) Things here are good. Our church's annual harvest fest was this past weekend. I was a little skeptical of the turnout - but it was a huge hit. We had perfect weather and a great crowd! There were all sorts of fun activities for the kids and they seemed to really enjoy it!

Phil and I were Mr. and Mrs. Scarecrow again. We were in charge of the build your own scarecrow booth. I wasn't expecting to be as busy as we were! It was great and next year we have decided we really need to upgrade. I'm going to start collecting items at yard sales in the summer so we have enough.

We spent all day stuffing scarecrows and setting up and having fun!

This is a picture of the back of our house with the leaves changing. I'm not looking forward to raking them this weekend though! The front yard is covered

Hope you are having a splendid fall day!
