And so it begins..

Well hello world. Friday was my first official day at the middle school. I had a great time and feel really refreshed and excited about getting things started. I will begin my days before 7:15 AM and my first period will start at 7:30. I think I may need to invest in a larger coffee cup! After I teach two periods I will have a break and then lunch at 10:26 AM. haha! I think I'll end up eating four meals a day or something. I counted 94 students between the four periods. They are all so little and cute. I definitely felt grown up and able to master them. I will have a couple of weeks to observe and get to know them before I take over the classroom. I'm excited about that! :) I have begun to organize lesson plans and I'm starting to feel a little more prepared already!



Here is a photo of my classroom. It is nice and neat and perfect. I will have the ability to use technology like I could not in previous experiences. I cannot wait to get things started!
