Peaceful musings

I think I can come up for more than a thousand words for this picture
...but better yet , how about smile and a sigh - which shows exactly how it would make me feel to have nothing better to do today except for this.

Alas! Reality is ever present, but one can dream. This week has been great and I don't have much more to say. Instead I leave you with several quotes fitting to today's dream.

Reason’s whole pleasure, all the joys of sense,Lie in three words,—health, peace, and competence.-Alexander Pope

Peace and rest at length have come All the day’s long toil is past,And each heart is whispering, “Home, Home at last.” - Thomas Hood

Nothing can bring you peace but yourself. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Time has fallen asleep in the afternoon sunshine. - Alexander Smith

A happy soul, that all the way To heaven hath a summer’s day. - Richard Crashaw

The world is so full of a number of things,I ’m sure we should all be as happy as kings. - Robert Louis Stevenson

How is it that people don't make great quotes like that anymore? We have maxed out our verbal prowess with "True 'dat."
